Outlook 2003\2007 not fully synchronized with Exchange 2010
Hi,
After migrating to the Exchange 2010 we have the following issue:
After re-installing Outlook 2003 on a client computer, not all mails showed up in the inbox. In cached mode the server folder contains about 15000 items, while the offline folder contains only about 3000 items. In online mode, and connecting to the OWA all
the mails are present.
I have tried re-installing Outlook 2003, uninstalled Outlook 2003, installed Outlook 2007. Tried the same user on a different computer, then on a brand new computer, Windows 7, Outlook 2007 still with the same issue.
This lead me to believe that the problem is with some configuration of the user mailbox. Though I didn't find any difference when comparing the user mailbox settings with a user mailbox that does not have this problem.
Any ideas what the problem could be?
Thanks,
Ben

Hi
Not a funny situation at all....
Have you tried outlook /cleanviews ?
I would ask you to remove the OST file but you have already tried on another computer
Have you run ExBPA? Check for issues

Tried "outlook /cleanviews" - no change
Ran ExBPA, had no relevant issues come up (A warning about outgoing attachments configured to be too large that the recommended)

Just confirm, this was just ONE user that had this problem?
Do you have the possibility to export the contents of the mailbox and remove the mailbox and create a new one for him/her and then import the contents into it?
